How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Many of our items are made to order. Please allow three days for your order to be created and packed, on top of postage. If you have an urgent request please get in touch, we will always do our best to ensure you are not disappointed!

We offer local pick-up in Spearwood, WA 6163.

For postal orders we may use a courier service or Australia Post. Please be aware that Australia Post is experiencing long delays.

Once your order has been sent we will email you through tracking details. Unfortunately the delivery speed is not within our sphere of influence! If you wish to enquire about the whereabouts of your order, please contact the courier or postal service described in your tracking information.

I want to add something to my order, is it possible?

If the order has not yet been dispatched, this should not be a problem. Please email hello.happydoughco@gmail.com with your request.

I made a mistake with my order, can I change it?

We dispatch on Thursdays, so providing we haven't already sent your order, we can definitely adjust it. 

Please email us as soon as possible.

About Happy Dough play dough

What age are your products recommended for?

3-103 years old. Our products are not suitable for children under 3 years due to choking hazards and small parts. Adult supervision is required at all times.

What is in happy dough?

Happy dough is a toy and is not to be eaten. (No matter how good it looks or smells). That said, we use simply wheat flour, salt, water, vegetable oil, cream of tartar, food essence or essential oil to scent, and food colouring or natural food based ingredients to colour (matcha, beet powder, cinnamon, avocado seeds). How long does happy dough last for?

Happy dough has an expected life span of 3-6 months as long as it is stored in an air tight container, and not left out for hours before returning to the tin! Washing hands before play and regularly playing with the dough could make it last longer. A care instruction card is included in each order and full product care details are here.

If it was left in the open and dries, do I have to throw it away?

It depends how long it’s been out in the open and the air temperature/humidity. If it dries, try adding a few drops of water and thoroughly knead. 

How do I care for my wooden tools and accessories?

After using our wooden tools, if necessary you can wash them gently with warm soapy water, rinse out the soap and leave to dry. DO NOT SOAK them in water or put in the dishwasher.

The colour of my happy dough is slightly different to what I see on the website

Care is taken to keep colours consistent, but as a small batch, handmade product, each batch may have variation or unique characteristics… call it love! There could also be slight difference due to monitor and phone colours.

Do you take custom orders and make bespoke products?

Yes we are happy to discuss your custom order or bespoke project and work with you wherever viable. Please get in touch via email.

Some loose parts from my kit have gone missing/up the vacuum, can I get more?

It depends on what you need to replace, we may charge you depending on the amount you need. Please get in touch via email. 

How are your items packaged?

Our packaging is eco friendly, can be recycled or reused.
